^date.

Time to fill you all in! There's been a lot going on, some of which I won't even explain, but here's a nice, big, update for you.

Tomorrow is my last performance of my senior show, A Servant of Two Masters. For anyone who's interested, we did it the old-fashioned way, like a true Commedia troupe, where we started with only the scenarios (an outline) for each scene, rather than a script with dialogue and stage directions. We'd start with something like "Truffaldino (who I played half of the time, as we were double cast) convinces Florindo to hire him," then from there, we'd improv the situation, and through rehearsals, developed our own unwritten script for the show. (This is similar to what they do for shows like Reno 911 and Curb Your Enthusiasm.) It was an awesome process, and a whole lot of fun. We had a dinner theater night last night, which was my true opening night, and we absolutely killed! But, that whole process sucked up a whole lot of my time, seeing as I wrote and composed four songs for the show (with the help of Zach.) But now, it's almost over, so I'm ready to have all my attention be shoved towards the next two shorts!

As soon as we're done the show, my senior performing arts class and I get started on The Devil and Danny Webster, my 45-page highschool adaption of the famous play and short story. (Each performing arts class does a "Senior Film" in their senior year, (duh) and I took the liberty of writing my class's!) But relax yourself, THIS IN NO WAY CONFLICTS WITH BILLY GOAT 2, as filming for Danny Webster will take place completely during school hours (with room for a few after-school shooting hours.) And yes, you will be seeing Danny Webster up on YouTube. It's going to act just as any other DFear Studios Short Film would.

So, while I'm shooting Danny Webster at school, at home, I'll be shooting The Billy Goat Caller 2! I'm finally picking up speed with the screenplay for that now. (I was having lots of trouble actually writing it, even though I had the  outline of where the story was going.) I expect to be done the screenplay for it within the next two weeks, where I'll then post a final plot synopsis and possibly a new poster in the COMING SOON section.

So obviously, I'm going to be very very busy again, but this time, it's all for you! So from now on, expect a skit at least once every month. I can't promise any more than that, but at least now you know why and what to look forward to.

Oh, and I still haven't decided on what our summer project will be. As of now it's between a Kenny Bassender spin-off, the Wolf short film, and the Die Now sequel. Too early to worry about that right now, though.

Hope this was informative enough for ya! Just try to bear with me, here!
