SHORT FILMS

If you haven’t noticed from the huge banner on the front page, The Billy Goat Caller is finally going to be released exclusively on here in full HD. Ever wanted to watch it seamlessly in one sitting? Congrats.



Kenny Bassender is filming now. It’ll be done for a July release. Read more about it in the “Coming Soon” section. It’s looking great so far and I know I’m going to be very proud of it. Keep in mind it’s not as zany as The Billy Goat Caller was, and it’s definitely more story-driven. It’s still ridiculous in concept, but the overall theme is strong. Or so I’d like to think! It’ll probably run around 20-25 minutes. Same as The Billy Goat Caller.



I’m re-working the Wolf mini-series to work as a short film that we’re going to move forward with over the summer once Kenny’s done. Actually, there’s 2 story lines I could go with. I’m going to have a poll up in June where you can vote on which story you’d rather see the suburban superhero go through!

The Billy Goat Caller 2 is being written, and it involves time travel! I don’t wanna give away too much, but the story picks up one year after first movie. Andy and Travis haven’t spoken much, Julia and Travis aren’t together anymore, and Todd...? Through a plot point I won’t explain right now, Andy and Travis go to the future...and find some shocking things. Expect this sucker in Spring 2010, possibly summer. It’ll definitely be longer than the first.

Like the Cowboy Ghost skit? Good, cause it’s going to be a movie. The concept is, as written on my PENDING IDEAS file,  “When a harmless cowboy ghost with absolutely no backstory shows up in an idiot-filled town, panic sweeps over everyone...except two average teenage boys. In an attempt to settle the town’s fears, they make friends with the cowboy ghost, only to be branded as ghosts themselves.” This will most likely start production next summer. It stars me and Seth King.

ANIMATIONS



Spider-Powers for Christmas 3 is being written every day. There’s loads of new songs, and loads of new themes I want to incorporate. How will I further the story now that he has his powers, you ask? Well. Allow me to quote the opening number.



“Well, I swing around and save people all day,

But there is nobody in my way!

I need someone to slow me down,

An evil man with evil plans whos mind is not sound.

I’m tired of living my days in bliss,

What I need is a nemesis!”



I know you’ve been waiting. The Lazer Collection 3 will be released August of this summer. You can read a little about my plans for it in my “Super Commentary” for The Lazer Collection 2 in the animation section.



MUSIC



I’m releasing an album. That’s right. An album. “The Cat is On the Piano!” It’s got some songs you’ve heard, and a whole lot you haven’t. One of these songs just happens to be the Wolf theme, which I know you all were dying to grab. The CD will go on sale this summer...right after I pick a winner for the album art contest! Official details will be released with a music video sometime soon.

The music section looks a little bare. That'll change. At the moment I'm not sure which songs are definitely going to be on the album so I don't know if I should release certain ones yet!

In other news, Wolf, the full-length screenplay is completed after 2 years. It’s an interesting process, getting input from friends and teachers on this universe that’s been in my head for so long. It’s been completed for a few weeks now, and after all the feedback things have changed and it’s more solid than ever. Think a 17 year old can’t sell a screenplay with himself atatched as the lead role? Watch me.
